The Salter 9004 is a glass platform electronic personal weighing scale with a toughened glass platform. It can measure up to 180 kg (metric) and 28 st 8 lb (imperial). It has an easy-to-read LCD display and a large platform for generous foot room.

The scale is tap start for increased reliability and accuracy. In order to get an accurate weight reading, the user must first “activate” the scale by tapping the platform. Once the display reads 00.00, the scale is then ready to be stepped onto for a weight reading. The 9004 glass platform scale is powered by two CR2032 button batteries.
